Revolutionizing HTC’s Outlook on Mobile Technology

It looks like every new handset made by the Taiwanese phone mogul HTC is based on the Sensation. The current flagship sports a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, an 8 megapixel camera, a larger 4.3 inch display, and the latest android iteration. It is either the company has matched these specs or made them even better.

An example of this is the EVO 3D. This smartphone packs relatively the same phone specifications compared to the current flagship. However, it does come with one improvement. The phone will allow you to record 3D videos with its dual 2 megapixel cameras. It will also allow you to watch your stereoscopic videos on its 4.3 inch screen without having to wear 3D glasses.

Yet another example is the flagship’s XE version. This handset takes power and performance to whole new heights. It also has some unique features to offer. When it comes to power, the Taiwanese phone manufacturer has bumped up the original 1.2 GHz dual-core processor to a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor Qualcomm MSM 8260 Snapdragon chipset with an integrated Adreno 220 GPU for intense graphics. The upgrade does not end here. The XE will also sport Beats Audio technology. It comes with Dr. Dre’s Beats headphones. This is something the original HTC Sensation did not come with. Lastly, the up and coming smartphone comes with red accents and the Beats logo on the back. This will spice up the phone’s looks.

Another phone is the Vigor. This is rumored to be the Sensation’s replacement. It is said to be HTC’s new flagship. Like the current flagship, it will sport a 4.3 inch display. However, it will come packed with a more powerful CPU just like the HTC Sensation’s XE version. It will come packed with a 1.5 GHz CPU with two cores. It has not been confirmed if this smartphone will sport Beats Audio technology. However, leaked images of the handset have revealed a rubberized back and red accents just like the XE. This suggests that the phone will sport Beats.

The last phone on HTC’s roster is the Runnymede. It is also known as the Bass. This is by far the most ambitious handheld mobile device the Taiwanese firm is currently developing. It rocks a 4.7 inch S-LCD capacitive touch screen. This will offer so much real estate for touch features. It is rumored to pack a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU under the hood.

The Book on Integrated Mobile Technology

If you are in business or run a government agency that had many workers out in the field that you must keep track of then, which book might you most like to read? “The Book on Integrated Mobile Technology Software to Improve Efficiency” might be a start, unfortunately no one has ever read it, because, well, no one has yet to write it you see?

Indeed, I would like to read that book too! As the CEO of, operating a family of mobile service franchise businesses, one of the biggest challenges was efficiency. Today we find fuel prices up over $3.00 per gallon way too often and pay scales up also. We cannot waste money or time with lost appointments or poor routing.

There is traffic to deal with and communications that are needed between the teams, the customer and the base of operations. Now multiply that problem operating in 450 cities, 110 markets, 23-states and four countries, help. When we need a solution, we need it Now!

In the past, before now that is, there were nothing but promises from mobile technology software companies, the burn-rate of the VC funded mobile technologies business was all too common, as one bright shooting star after another did not make the grade only to crash and burn leaving their customers holding the bag. Now technologies and integration is much more robust and it is going to take someone who gets it to put it all together.

Voice Commands and Mobile Phone

Voice Text Messaging

An emerging new technology, voice text messaging operates in a similar fashion as standard mobile texting, but comes with a fresh new twist. Voice text messaging relies on voice commands, which means there’s no need to thumb through a cumbersome phone pad to send messages. Say goodbye to typing. All you need to do is talk and you can stay in touch with numerous contacts while multitasking. Go ahead and send text messages as you drive, travel, run errands-even while jogging.

Here’s an overview of how voice text messaging works. You shouldn’t need to purchase any new equipment, software, or have to switch service providers. To send a voice text, do the following: tell your voice control operator the name of the person you need to message. Soon you’ll hear an audio prompt telling you to begin your voice text. Now verbalize your message and the voice control operator will relay it your contact’s mobile inbox.

Voice to email

If you haven’t heard, voice to email technology lets you send email without typing or accessing a computer. Like voice text messaging, voice to email also relies on voice commands. With email now firmly entrenched in daily life, voice to email technology is fast proving its worth. It’s an easy and efficient way to stay in touch with family, friends, and colleagues. Voice to email also works with your existing mobile phone, so the technology travels with you.

Here’s how it works. Anytime you need to send a voice email, just say so. Then tell your voice control assistant the name of the person you need to email. Next begin recording you message. Once completed, you’ll have two voice commands to select from: listen or send. Say listen if you’d like to hear the message you’ve just recorded, or send if it’s ready to go. Choose the latter and your voice to email message arrives in the target recipient’s inbox in a near instant. Voice command technology is poised to revolutionize text messaging and mobile communication, with the aforementioned technology just a fraction of what’s possible.

Mobile Phone Technology

Lying is ubiquitous.

Nowadays, religion and fear of going to hell is not enough to stop millions of us from lying. We believe that lying is only bad when it confirmed. This led an enterprising group of biotechnology doctoral students, from a leading university in Europe to conduct a study and experiment on how to more easily detect lying. Their findings revealed that pupils of the eyes change for a few seconds after people tell a lie. Although some people can control their body movements and facial expressions when they lie, they cannot consciously control the changes in their eye pupils! The doctoral students decided to test out their findings in a much larger scale than the initial experiment done on one hundred university students.

The students knew that the device they must develop to detect lying must be as ubiquitous as liars themselves. So what is as ubiquitous today as lying? The answer came quickly, mobile phones! So Franciso Algrave (the group’s software engineer) decided to develop a software that can be easily uploaded on a mobile device that would roughly calculate the change in eye pupil. Person A simply needs to take a picture of the face of Person B with his camera phone when person B is “not speaking or communicating with someone”. Another picture must be taken just after the person responds to the question. The first picture taken for comparison need only to be taken once and can be saved on the phone for future use.

Mobile Truth or Dare?

After using a few volunteers, the technology quickly gained notoriety in campus and

more than 7,000 students downloaded the application from the university website.

It has become part of student pop culture as mobile truth or dare games are often played in university parties. As of the moment, the technology is merely considered as a fun application.

Online Dating and Mobile Truth Technology?

Although, the group is still busy refining the software to make it more accurate since current accuracy only falls to about 80%; the group is now excited to develop other applications for their technology. The group is experimenting on calculations to assess the honesty of people from their web cam videos. How would we know from their video introductions that people are serious about getting into long-term relationships or marriage? How are you sure that the people are not just saying those lovely things, for a quick fling?

A sample group of 20 people were asked to create video introductions and randomly instructed to tell a lie or tell a truth. In order to increase the accuracy to 90%, the group is also currently studying how to develop applications that will make use of both voice technology and eye technology to determine the honesty of web cam video communications.

Mobile Truth Technology for Parents?

Can moms used this technology to know whether their kids are skipping school? having sex? having unprotected sex? or dabbling in drugs? The group is hesitant to market their technology to parents since they are aware that trust and traditional communication methods of “regular conversation with your love ones” is still the best parenting technology.

From a Phone Line Between Two Poles to a Hand Held Mobile Device

Cellular telephone is often called a mobile telephone, which is a portable device that does not require the use of landlines. It is a type of short wave analogue or digital telecommunication which has a wireless connection from the mobile telephone to a relatively nearby transmitter. The transmitter’s span of coverage is called a cell, so as the user moves from one cell or area of coverage to another area of coverage the phone is effectively passed onto the next local cell transmitter.

A mobile phone can make and receive telephone calls to other mobile phones and fixed line phones around the world. It can do this by connecting to a cellular network provided by a mobile network operator. In Australia there are two main network operators.

History of the Mobile Phone.

Dr Martin Cooper, a researcher at Motorola, made the first mobile phone call on 3rd April 1973 in a non-vehicle setting. The phone design was about the size of a brick and weighed around two (2) pounds. The life span on the battery was around 10 to 12 minutes before needing to be recharged.

In 1983, the DynaTAC 8000x was the first to be approved by the US Federal Communications Commission for commercial use. It weighed two pounds, offered half-hour of talk time and sold for $3,995.00. Now in 2011 we have sleek, lightweight mobile phones that have installed into them dual core application processor, camera, GPS navigation, video, music, up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 360 hours of standby time on the battery and they can be purchased separately for a minimal cost or supplied to you with your mobile phone plan.
